Honda Odyssey 2015: an easy choice

The Honda Odyssey has always been a popular minivan since it first arrived on the market. Able to stand out not only in terms of security but also in terms of comfort and space inside, the Odyssey returns this year with little change, but always with a personality that allows it to outperform its main rivals in several respects.

In addition to its interior space and comfort, the 2015 Odyssey also stands out in terms of reliability. Indeed, Honda has always been known for its ability to deliver vehicles that simply work and practically never experience mechanical problems.

That being said, when looking at a minivan, buyers are generally looking for a vehicle that can offer a lot of space inside. Capable of accommodating up to 8 passengers, the Odyssey accomplishes this wonderfully. There is plenty of leg and head room, no matter the row, and even once everyone is on board, the 2015 Odyssey still provides ample space for luggage. Moreover, Honda's minivan can accommodate up to 846 liters in the luggage compartment. After having lowered all rows, the Odyssey provides 4205 liters of cargo space. Not bad at all.

Under the hood, the 2015 Honda Odyssey offers a 3.5-liter V6 engine developing 248 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. This engine offers plenty of power for a minivan, and we appreciate the fact that the accelerations and passing is done very quickly as you press the right pedal. Indeed, the Odyssey literally leaps forward when you are trying to pass another vehicle. Better yet, this power does not come at the expense of comfort and fuel economy as the engine works quietly and fuel economy, set at 12.3 liters per 100 kilometers in the city and 8.5 liters per 100 kilometers on the highway, is impressive for a minivan.

In terms of equipment, the 2015 Honda Odyssey comes standard with dual-zone air conditioning, Bluetooth phone system, a central 8-inch screen, a rearview camera and many other features. In the catalog of options, we find three-zone climate, blind spot monitoring, a sunroof, leather seats, a collision detection system, lane change warning, and heated seats.

Available from just over $ 30,000, the 2015 Honda Odyssey has a lot to offer if you want a comfortable minivan that is also spacious, safe and capable of carrying up to eight people with luggage and more. For more information on the 2015 Honda Odyssey, contact Lallier Honda Repentigny today!
